Great game, Tim. Just as you have a pattern you follow picking for a bonus - I have a pattern I follow watching your games. First I read the helps and hints in the SHOW MORE session, and yes, I sometimes take notes. Then I watch the video, sometimes pausing and referring back to the rules. Then if I'm still not clear about what I'm looking for, I'll see who else has played the game. Most filmers just push buttons and don't explain much, but not all of them. There's a lot to learn from Random's pay tables, SOS's experience at WMS and from doing this for 10 years, and (while he was posting) Shinobi's comments as he played, and the demos the companies often post. And of course your games when I'm watching someone else. If none of these answer my questions, nobody can, and I have to decide whether I want to play the game myself. When you get to be my age (76) you appreciate the comments people post on these videos.
The big things to watch for when you play Fortune Coin slot are the wilds (the dragon symbols) and the big gold coins that transform into credits, free games, or progressive picks. The progressive is the standard pick-em. Match 3 mini, minor, major, and maxi. symbols to determine your win. Yes, it probably is predetermined. The 3,4,or 5 Dragon Head symbols, award 10, 15, or 20 free spins with all the non-premium symbols removed to increase your chance of a nice win. Building on the success of earlier games, IGT released Fortune Palace-Imperial Prince and Fortune Palace-Imperial Princess to the first venues last week with strong early performance results. Each of the games has their own unique maths and are based on the low denomination 1c Fortune Charm and 1c Fortune Coin, entertainment style games that re so popular with regular players.
